Krabi Holidays
Krabi – all inclusive holidays for peace or excitement
Krabi is becoming increasingly popular for all inclusive holidays in Thailand. This tiny province, 500 miles from Bangkok and 180 miles from Phuket, offers peace and excitement in equal measure.
With coral-fringed white beaches, mangrove forests and spectacular rocky formations, last minute breaks at Krabi offer the perfect tropical getaway. You can climb the rocky massifs, go butterfly hunting, take a canoe excursion up the Mae Nam Krabi river, book a ferry ride to one of the neighbouring islands or simply relax on the beach.
With beaches like Ko Lanta, Ko Phi Phi, Ao Nang and Railay offering all inclusive holidays with a full range of activities, this tiny resort may well become your only future option for booking last minute breaks to Thailand.
Family holidays at Krabi
Krabi is as far removed from resorts like Phuket as you can imagine. If you could book family breaks in Eden, Krabi is where you would probably end up. As yet totally unspoiled, the resort offers all inclusive holidays along the coast, at spectacular locations like Ao Nang and Ko Lanta.
Krabi is totally focussed on providing friendly, safe family holidays too. Children can play on pristine white beaches, sheltered by the palm trees while older teens can scale the limestone massifs that tower out of the sea. Ao Phranang and Railay beaches are world renowned rock-climbing destinations. Krabi is also famous for its spectacular diving reefs, and there are a myriad of tiny coves and inlets where waterfalls cascade over tempting cave mouths, inviting enthusiasts in.
Inland there are lush tropical jungles, high cliffs, cascading rivers, spectacular waterfalls and dense mangrove forests. Everywhere, you will hear the buzz and zing of Thailand’s wildlife, with jewel winged butterflies and rare, exotic birds. Hire a kayak and explore upriver, or take a hiking safari to the mountain-top pagodas and hidden temples. Caving enthusiasts will find potholing opportunities galore.
Where to book family holidays in Krabi
Anywhere offering all inclusive holidays will be geared up for families, and there are also several budget hotels offering extremely good value. For wining and dining there are numerous bars and restaurants, particularly in the Ao Phra Nang and Koh Lanta areas – which also have excellent beaches and hotels. Ao Nang Bay is about the biggest beach resort, with a large hotel complex, restaurants, boat trips, scuba diving and some of the best rock climbing in Thailand.
We at Future Travel cannot recommend Krabi highly enough for anyone, young or old, who wants their last minute breaks to lead them to Paradise.
