Fiskardo is a seaside town and better suited to those who want to spend some relaxing time away from home and work, perhaps take a boat trip, rent a traditional wooden caique for an hour or two in the harbour, or try one of the nature trails close by.  There is also something to suit the more active as there is a diving school in the town too.

Skala is possibly the most renowned of the resorts in Kefalonia with a wide range of lively beachlife activities and yet only a short walk from the quieter areas.  There are tavernas and restaurants to explore, olive groves to visit and sun loungers for hire.
