Activities with the family
There are regular daily boat trips to Nicosia from Latchi with the chance to explore the remote caves and beaches around the island.
Diving is a popular sport at Latchi where there are huge reefs and at Paphos where there are a number of old ship wrecks.
Akamas National Park is beautiful and there are a number of walks that can be taken including The Adonis Trail and the Aphrodite Trail.
The legendary Baths of Aphrodite close to Fontana Amorosa (fountain of love) and said to be the place where Aphrodite would bathe in a glittering pool in a natural grotto which was shaded by fig trees.
The ancient Cypriot town of Paphos is now a Unesco World Heritage Site which has been keenly preserved since the 12th century. Children love the Paphos bird park with daily parrot and owl shows, face-painting and children’s farm.
One of the most popular places for family holidays is the Aphrodite Waterpark which is close to Paphos. The water park nestles in 3500 sqm of grounds with a fabulous sea-fronted range of water fun for all the family.
