Taking last minute breaks in Ayia Napa means you can stock up on a few luxuries. Ayia Napa is well known for its shopping, and designer bargains are up to 30% less than at home.

The local handicrafts include exquisite lace, pottery, jewellery and woven silk goods, as well as woven baskets and high quality leatherwear. The local cuisine is varied and affordable, ranging from fast food outlets to cosmopolitan restaurants. The older part of the town has several rustic restaurants serving authentic Cypriot specialities.

If you like partying, then last minute breaks in Ayia Napa are for you, with bars, clubs and bouzouki bars going on in the central areas to the early hours.  Hotels usually come inclusive of entertainment, with live music and folk dancing popular ways to get the crowd moving.

On the beaches, water sports include windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. There are also banana boats and pedaloes for hire. The beaches are monitored by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation to ensure they maintain their Blue Flag status
