Antalya Holidays

All inclusive holidays to Antalya

Antalya, known as the Turkish Riviera, is a popular place for all inclusive holidays and last minute breaks, with an attractive harbour and ancient city enclosed by Roman walls. Other sights include the 3rd century Yivli Minaret and a superb archaeological museum.
However, it’s the beaches that all inclusive holidays in Antalya are all about, and here there are plenty to choose from. There are secluded coves, ancient harbours, quaint seaside towns and soaring cliff top walks, making this one of the most popular Turkish destinations we at Future Travel have.

What to do on Antalya holidays

The town has everything for a mixed break so there’s something for all. On one day you can be exploring the neighbouring villages, probing round caves with a guide, picnicking by a waterfall or visiting the Roman ruins of Perge and Termessos; on another you can be engaging in some of the numerous beach activities.
All the hotels offering all inclusive holidays in Antalya have a range of water sports to enjoy, often including beach volley ball, triathlons and canoeing competitions. Lying in a picturesque hollow at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, the resort hosts many sporting events and extreme challenges throughout the year, making it the perfect place for family holidays, even with teenage children.
Hire a car, and you could take a cultural trek to Aspendos, a few kilometres to the east to view the finest Roman theatre in the world. Built in 2 AD, it looks as if it were finished yesterday.

Last minute breaks in Antalya mean lots of souvenir shopping

Antalya has a fascinating variety of shops to choose from, selling everything from local preserves to antique jewellery, prayer rugs, traditional pottery, leather goods and wood carving. Haggling is the expected mode of commerce, and in return you can expect some great bargains to take home.
The best shops are in the Kaleici district of the old town, near the Roman walls. Here, you can explore winding streets and the shops in the old quarter avenues of Ataturk, Isiklar and Cumhuriyet. In the newer part of town are several large shopping malls – and a lot of fake designer goods!

Where to eat on breaks to Antalya

Most people opt for at least one slap up meal in the authentic Turkish restaurants of the Kaleici district. Here, some of the eateries are even built into the Roman walls.
However, the more adventurous head out of town, to the traditional villages where the locals eat.

Nightlife

Antalya pulses with nightclubs and discos, with hotels offering belly dancing shows nightly. There are also quieter bars by the waterfront.
At Future Travel, we have all inclusive holidays, family breaks and last minute holidays to Antalya throughout the year.
